Since Evangeline Lily was cast as Hope Pym and with Janet Van Dyne's fate being revealed in the film to be dead, such disappointment has struck out.
It's such a shame that Janet Van Dyne won't be a part of the action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of Evangeline Lily being cast as her daughter and because of how severe the people at Marvel Studios had to be so heavily creative on the characters in the upcoming Ant Man film. Still as the film's female lead, I just hope that Hope Pym will be serving as the Marvel Cinematic version's Wasp because she's too fun to ignore and this film wouldn't be same without the Wasp being involved.
Not to mention that they couldn't at least change Janet from being the wife of Hank Pym to being the daughter of Hank Pym and besides Michael Douglas being cast as Hank Pym at his current age, there is no specific explaination to why they had to make the casting and the changes on the characters in the film so heavily severe.
While some people online are careless about the changes, I am sure that some fans are feeling really disappointed right now.
Still we can hope that Lily is playing the Wasp, even though it's not specifically Janet Van Dyne.

Evangeline Lily is Wasp
Evangeline Lilly has finally been confirmed to play Wasp, her character's name however will be named Hope van Dyne instead of Janet Van Dyne. Hopefully her character is the Marvel Cinematic version of Wasp for sure.

Besides Dr. Eggman, Sonic needs to take on threats that occur in the real world such as criminals, corruption, and especially terrorists so that the film can be successful enough to continue with 1 or 2 more sequels

Alec Baldwin (Thomas and the Magic Railroad) as the President of the United States
Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine) as the President's assistant

So take a moment and see if all of some of thse people on the page is worth seeing in the upcoming film that Sony is yet to release in theaters when ready. Surely it may not have everything you all want but you know that based on how much a movie is able to incorpotate, you can't always have everything included. But not to worry, if the film is successful, then a sequel to the Sonic film is sure to be made and more characters should be able to turn up then. Still feel free to elaborate on what you think of this list.
